Car Cricket

Chose a model of car to be the 'cricket'. Then taking it in turns count how many cars pass the opposite side of the road until you see the ‘cricket’. Person with the highest score wins.

Car Number plate game

Each person in the car choses a number. Then you choose a car, add up all the numbers on the number plate and the closest guesser wins.

Name that Child

Pick any letter of the alphabet, then one by one say a boy’s or girl’s name beginning with that letter. Each person has 5 seconds and cannot repeat any names or shortened names or they’re out! When you’ve exhausted that letter move onto another one.

Famous name game

Choose categories like sport, football, TV, movies and take it in turns to name any celebrity from that category. Again, 5 seconds each and no repeating! Sounds easy? Try it and see!

Beaver Beaver

This game is like I Spy. Simply name an object and then
the first person to see it wins – but remember to say beaver beaver before the spotted object.

Story game

One by one say a word to make up a short sentence. The word has to make sense in the context and you have 5 seconds to say a word.

20 questions

An all time travel classic! Think of a famous person and ask 20 questions to which only a yes or no answer can be given. Can you guess the mystery celebrity?

11 or 21

Going in a clockwise direction around the car, each person has to say up to 3 numbers in sequential order. the aim is not to be the preson who has to say 11 or 21 or they're out! E.g '1,2,3' '4,5' '6' '7,8,' '9,10' The next person will be out. Choose 11 for small numbers of players or go up to 21 for more.

Fill the gap

Everyone in silence. The aim of the game is to count to 20 as a group but only 1 person can say a number at a time. No conferring! If two people speak at the same time they’re out.

I went shopping

Make up the longest shopping list you can! The first person picks one item then the second person has to say “I went shopping and I bought the first person’s item and then think of something else to buy. The next person has to remember both items on their list and then add their own.
